I want to start this answer by saying: never ever change your makeup, hair, clothes, way of talking or any other aspect about yourself to 'make a guy' like you because if he doesn't like YOU (as in your personality) then he wont go for you, in the same way that if he does like you then he will go for you no matter what hair colour you have!
This guy is silly enough to say 'I only like girls with blond hair', well! Your job is not to be every other bimbo that walks his way, your job is to be the brunette that changed that.
Some people are just not compatible for each other but that's about personality and not about hair colour.
If it makes you feel any better, I had a girlfriend with dyed green hair once and I would have never thought I would before I met her.
