The only way I have figured out to save an email to your hard drive is, cut and paste the text into a text document and save.
You can drag and copy emails right out of the inbox to wherever you want
A personal folder, also known as Outlook data file in the 2003 version or .pst, is a media used for storing emails created in Outlook. It compresses your emails similar to a zip file allowing you to save hundreds of emails along with their attachments. An archive folder is similar to a personal folder in that they both use .pst to store and compress emails. Archive, however, can be setup automatically to save emails that are older than a specific date. And, the default location for archived folders are on your hard drive. You can save emails that may take up too much space in your inbox. Or, save important emails from your colleagues, family members, friends and professors that you just don't want to delete. You could also use this to store a copy of your emails for use after you graduate.
If you have outlook express, you can drag and drop the email with the left button of your mouse to your desktop, or to a folder on the desktop. After you drag and drop the email message to the folder or desktop, copy the messages to a cd. you can copy and paste your emails in a word documents too.
If you use Windows Live Mail or Microsoft Outlook you can copy the file and paste it directly to your flash drive.
Depending on the version of Outlook theres always a backup/export/import solution built into the client. One could also manually backup the .PST files.A good tip is to enable "Leave a copy on the server". This will allow Outlook to copy the email from your email provider instead of "stealing" it. A new stup of your client or login to a webmail will then reload all emails from the date the setting was enabled.
You can only share Outlook PST File by creating copy of it.
you can keep a copy of the sharepoint document library as an outlook list
You have to export the Outlook contacts for use. You can export to make a file and then import that file on other outlook.
you cant
No...not all at once. And if you're trying to copy the ones people sent to you, you can't.
I had the same problem, but I just resolved it! Here is how I did it: 1- Create a personal folder, I assume you know how to create a personal folder (if you already have one, you may choose to close it, or you can keep it). 2- Open Outlook and click on contacts folder, right click on the folder and copy contacts, select personal as destination to copy folder. Now you have copied the contacts folder to your personal folder. You need to copy the personal folder to a CD, flash drive, or any other portable storage device. Note: you need to close outlook to copy your personal folder. 4 - Go to the destination computer where you want to copy contacts to and copy the personal folder to a location in your local drive. 5 - Open outlook and add the personal folder (you may close your existing personal folder) 6 - Once the personal folder is there, click on contacts, you should be able to see "personal folder contacts" along the outlook contacts. You are done!, you can play with the contacts the way you want.
Copy furnish is another way to say carbon copy. Popular in letters and emails, it is abbreviated with the letters CC, or BCC for blind carbon copy.
