There is no set answer for this unfortunately. All men are different. Women have tried to pull this over on me and it doesn't work. I am the jealous type but I also have intuition and know when a woman is trying to make me jealous. If it is an ex that you are trying to make jealous than you had better tread softly. If it is someone that you would like to have a relationship with but they don't seem to notice you then it may be a good idea to let them know how you feel about them. Or make more of an effort to talk to them/ get to know them. So in a way I agree with the point made above.
