Color Splash?
Yes, but you won't get colors such as blue or yellow. You will receive a color image of black and white. Your image never had color. Take a new picture in color and you will not have black and white. If you're good with photoshop (or something similar), you can use that to add color that wasn't there before. But that is difficult.

Black picture frames will provide a great contrast to the white walls and draw attention to the picture.
The most important part of choosing a picture frame is to make sure the frame is not muted by your wall. Never pick a frame that is the same color as the wall behind it. Pick a picture frame that complements the shading in the black and white photograph.
If you add black to a color, you will darken it. If you add white to a color you will lighten it. How dark/light you want the color to be depends on the amount of black or white you mix in. But be careful of using too much black. It can leave you with a muddy tone instead of a nice color. If you have to darken more than a shade, it would be better to use the color's opposite on the color wheel. White should be no problem.
