Well to be honest it's both worth building a repo unit because you can buy one cheaper than you can build it. Companies now construct these units do fast that a brand new unit is only about $2,400 !! That's cheaper than you can buy all the material & build it!
You can purchase a Loco Motion brand repo unit from their website @ RepoTruck.com.
No you can't repo a central heating and air unit. Because you are a licensed heating contractor you can put a lien on their home. You can sue them for the money, but the unit is now their property.
my husband and i have our own repo company in ohio. we do alot of door knocks (try to make contact with the debtor) and sometimes we will try both front and back door. but we can not go snooping around. but if we find the unit we are going to do everything we have to to get that unit. just remember repo men get payed by the car not by hour. nichole Read your contract.
The #1 best way to stop a repo is to PAY YOUR NOTES or make arrangements with the LENDER. The lenders starts the repo, they stop the repo. Pay your bill.
"debtors" can never repo cars, LENDERS can, even after you make 'arrangements". As long as you are in "default", they can repo.
They cannot make contact ith the person, BUT they can repo the auto.
Neither are good. Call the lender and work something out. a repo is a repo by any standard ,they will sell the unit and go after you for the deficiency no matter what.it will be on your credit as a repo. You will not have to pay the towing and fees associated with the repo. That is the only difference.
Not sure of a unit called a Transformer, but Pierce Sales in Henrietta, Texas had one called The Recluse that folded out of a normal pickup truck and turned into a repo truck. There was another unit called The Illusion made by a company in Houston, but I believe they went out of business.
No.
Its not as easy as it seems. Is your truck gonna handle the work SAFELY? REPO insurance is sky high.
In NYC a Repo Order Stands until either the unit is found or a stop order (cancellation) is put in place. Other wise it is free game
Yes, afterall, the repo-car is still the legal property of the person who has sent the repo-guy to retrieve it.
