so you're not supposted to put the whole thing in your mouth at once?
Diagonally is the definitive best way to cut a sandwich, I will not hear any other opinions, and there’s science to back it up. Surveys and studies show that the people demand a diagonally cut sandwich.
The reasons why people prefer the triangular sandwich halves are a little more speculative, but experts say it probably has to do with surface area and aesthetics.
The diagonal cut is, of course, longer than a straight up and down cut, meaning the available crustless biting surface is greater on each half, giving the illusion that there is less crust, which is always a good thing.
Some chefs argue that the diagonal cut makes the sandwich look bigger, or that it’s harder to spot imperfections on a triangle than on a rectangle, but the aesthetics thing is really something you have to feel in your heart.
Whatever way my kids want it (which is usually just cut off the crust) ... just want them to eat it :)

Put one piece of bread, then jelly, then a piece of toast, then peanut butter, then another piece of bread. To cut it, you cut it diagonally into triangles with a sushi knife so the cut is perfectly straight, duh. This idea sparks others to think of you as weird, which is very close to unique in meaning.
Depending on who is going to eat it, the judgement will be made (babies, aadults, elderly people with lack of teeths, person with medical condition that cannot swallow big chunks, etc.) it all depends on the perspective
That would be impossible.
Edited:
Actually, it's not impossible. You can just use a very large piece of lettuce instead and put everything between it or turn it into a wrap. Another way could be using plain waffles. It's very tasty.
Sandwiches should be cut on the diagonal, not straight down the middle.
Why the Diagonal Cut Is a Superior Cut It gives the illusion of less crust. Also, it's just easier to eat a crustless bite. It's a more intuitive way to eat a sandwich. It just looks better.

There are countless ways to cut a sandwich. The diagonal cut is an all-around favorite among sandwich-making chefs. The classic vertical cut has its benefits, too; it's clean, compact, and picturesque. A high-quality bread knife and a bit of know-how will get you a well-sliced sandwich regardless of your cut preferences.

no cutting yourself wont make you dizzy but it can cause internal bleeding
Try using a knife if you haven't used a knife but be careful not to cut the bread and not cut yourself:)
yo mom make yourself useful and make me a sandwich

cress
Whoever wants to, but you may get it sooner if you just go ahead and make it yourself.
WikiAnswers does NOT give advice on how to harm your body. PLEASE do not cut yourself. If you have a problem, cutting yourself would not solve it! It will just make matters worse. Talk to someone that you believe could understand you. Again, please DO NOT CUT YOURSELF!
No not really. But a good tip to try when making panini sandwiches would be to reheat the sandwich in the oven to melt the cheese. Then, take a clean cutting board and squish the sandwich to make it flat. There you have a perfect panini sandwich/bread!
no. not at all people are just scared of cutting because they dont understand it
People cut sandwiches into triangles to make them look special. There aren't many things you can do with a sandwich to make it look festive. You can cut off the crusts or cut shapes out of it with a cookie cutter, but that wastes part of the sandwich. Cutting it into triangles is a quick and easy way to 'fancy up' a plain sandwich.
If you want, you can make him a sandwich. If you don't want to, you tell him to make his own sandwich.
