A siphon is very simply made with a length of hose. place the hose into the tank bucket or whatever and completely submerge it, ensuring all the air is gone. then place your thumb or finger over one end of it and lift it out and place it below the level of whatever you are trying to drain. water or fluid will start to flow. the siphon will only work when there is a difference in height of the water in the vessel and where the water is going. the greater the difference the greater the flowrate up to the capacity of the hose of course. this can also be accomplished by sucking on one end of the hose but be careful you do not get a mouthful.

I wouldn't advise it but I suppose it is plausible.
I would assume some kind of polution and syphon off the bottom of the tank and do a massive water change.
Syphon Filter happened in 1999.
It is normally spelled Siphon, but Syphon is an alternate spelling for the same word.
I only heard of Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror. Nothing else.
The octopus usually has only one syphon
Syphon Filter was created on 1999-01-31.
There are two types of syphon bulb; Syphon bulbs are small non-refillable metal canisters containing carbon dioxide and are used to make soda water. Syphon bulbs are plastic or rubber bladders fitted with one way valves and are use to prime (start) the process of syphoning by pumping the air out of the syphon tube by squeezing the bulb. A much safer way to start the syphon than the traditional suck on the tube method!
Add an aquarium heater. Make sure you choose a heater with the correct wattage for your aquarium's water volume.
