Depends on what your vehicle is. On something like an Oldsmobile Bravada - which uses a transfer case - you simply replace it with an NP231 transfer case. For something like a Subaru, which uses a differential attached to the transmission, it gets much more complicated, and would ultimately require either extensive modification to the drivetrain, or mounting the car body onto a compatible 4x4 chassis.
No they make a 2 and 4 wheel drive.
No. A "all wheel drive" is all the time four wheel drive. A 4x4 or 4-wheel drive can be set to drive in two wheel drive or four wheel drive.
No. They are All Wheel Drive or Front Wheel Drive
i have a 2 wheel drive and someone said i can have his 4 wheel drive but drive train is gone can i use mine and make the 4 wheel drive into a 2 wheel drive
Sure, all it takes is money. It would be cheaper to just purchase a 4 wheel drive truck.
It is in 4 Wheel drive all the time
All Subarus, not just the Forester, are "all wheel drive".
No. There are rear wheel drive and four wheel drive units available. RWD: Rear Wheel Drive 4WD: 4 Wheel Drive Hope that helps
There isn't one. In 1997, mountaineers were either 2 wheel drive or all wheel drive. Not 4 wheel drive
You can't disconnect the 4-wheel drive. The Mountaineer is a ALL WHEEL DRIVE S.U.V.
It doesn't have a low range gear, so it's not a 4 wheel drive. It is more accurately known as all wheel drive.
4 wheel drive, no. All-wheel drive is an option in the newer chargers (i think it was first an option in the 2009s)
