• Send them kisses!
• Send regular e-mails and show them you care! Although, do not make this persistant and annoying. If they need their own space, they need their own space.
• Pay them compliments.
• Find ways to make them talk about themselves but talk a little about yourself too. Don't make it look like you are trying to be a pedo! People can feel insecure if you ask too many questions so talk about yourself too.
• Be interesting and have fun conversations which appeal to them as well. Don't try and be boring always talking about stuff which is interesting to you but boring for them.
• When they talk about themselves, listen (or read) carefully to what they are trying to say and if they have any problems on their mind, try to sort it out as best you can.
• If friends do talk about problems then show empathy, listen well and don't compare them to yourself.
• Just be really kind,loving and friendly and there's no need to be stiff- just treat them the same as if you were talking to one of your friends face to face.
