There's no such thing as a "Windows BIOS."
here's what I would do with windows vista If you have a windows CD you can try to make a system restore from a point before you get the virus Just insert the CD in the Drive, boot the computer and enter the BIOS (usually by hitting Del... can be F2 on Dells to) Once you're on the bios, you have to make the CD Drive to be the first bootable device. Save changes in the bios and restart the computer will boot from the windows CD... there you'll be able to make a system restore
No. The BIOS is a part of the motherboard, and operates independently of Windows 98.
Yo need a new SATA drive to make a splash screen after your BIOS splash.
A Bios password is used to stop someone who does not know the password from making changes to the bios settings such as the boot order, a bios password can also be used as a stronger method than a windows password to keep unauthorized people from getting in to your files and whatever.
bios is PC not windows, bios can be loaded when you first start the pc, it normally has a hotkey like f8 f10 or f11
"Sleeping" is a feature of the computer BIOS. If Windows XP does not provide an option to "Sleep", make sure that ACPI is enabled in your BIOS.
I think you can but on your Windows 98 Computer make sure that in your BIOS the Floppy Drive is the very top one. Plus to get to the BIOS depends on your Computer. Here are the shortcuts that I know of to get to the BIOS: F2 , Del (or Delete) , or F10 Just experiment with the keys until you get to the BIOS. PSPSlimBoy
if a bios is manufactured after January 1999, it is considered good.
