1. Melt chocolate and cream in double boiler over low heat, stirring constantly.

you might also try using semi-sweet chips instead of milk chocolate. they taste just as good (i swear) and i have never had a problem with them that way. also, make sure you let the chocolate set up all the way (in the freezer, to be quick) before you eat them

Chocolate dipped pretzels can be made easily at home. Line a plate or cookie sheet with waxed paper, set aside. Melt chocolate chips (any variety) in a microwave - the chips will retain their shape but turn shiny when melted. Stir the melted chips, then dip the pretzels into the melted chocolate. Set the chocolate pretzels on the waxed paper, then refrigerate for several hours, until the chocolate is "set." Remove from refrigerator and serve, or allow to return to room temperature before storing in air-tight box or tin. The chocolate will remain hard at room temperature.
