To make a PowerPoint game

1.Decide what it's about

2.Make a slide devoted to each response in the game

3.Make hyperlinks between them e.g. you would have slide 1 as your main menu and you would make slide 2 the first part of the game and slide 3 help, credits, etc.

4.Add movies and pictures to make your game beautiful

5.test it

6.(optional)copy a set of slides and paste them into a new show and make a demo

7.(optional)sell it

8.Have fun!

I made a relatively simple one with a skateboarder jumping over some gaps. The way it plays (little secret) is to click on what I just call "action buttons". In this case a red circle labeled "jump' would work, but in other games it could be different, such as "Dodge" or "block". The process is as follows:

1 Create 4 slides: A start slide (1), the action slide (2), the lose slide (3), and the win slide (4)

2 Create all of your figures in the action slide. (Skateboarder, landscape with pit, sky, ect.)

3 Using free-form animation tool, make an animation of the skateboarder moving forward, then falling into the pit.

4 On slide 3, make a Game Over message

5 Create a simple red circle, then use edit text to put the word jump on it

6 Using advanced time-line view, make the red button appear just before the man falls into the pit

7 Make it disappear when he falls

8 Set the advance slide option to "automatically after 0 seconds"

9Hyperlink the button to the win slide

10 Make sure slide 3 is NOT set to advance on click OR automatically

11 Make a exit show button on slide 3

12 Fine tune you timings and you're done!

I hope this helped.
