How do you please God?

By loving God and all his creation as expressions of God's Love.

When we are at Peace with our Creator we are living an authentic life of harmony.

All dis-ease is the result of our own disharmony with God and Creation.

The greatest healer in the Cosmos is Love....not the Emotion called Love but the true deep impersonal love which knows no bounds can truly set one free.

To love is to practice love and not just to understand it theoretically.

Such would please God....the Creator of Love.

I would start by making him actually care what is going on with his creation. Being all-powerful, he could help prevent, or at least ease the suffering that so many of his "children" are continually going through. And He could answer some of the prayers that so many people make; at least the worthy ones. Since he makes belief in him a prerequisite of salvation, He could have made his existence a bit more obvious, instead He makes it seem like he doesn't exist, and punishes us for not believing; that is just deranged. The only evidence he leaves of his existence are poorly written books full of so many contradictions and bizarre rules as to be laughable. So, I guess providing a new book would be an improvement.

Besides improving God, many of the things that God supposedly did could be greatly improved. Starting with humans, he could have improved greatly on the design. The design of the spine is terrible, he just took a spine designed to support a body horizontally and can flex so that an animal can run, and used it to support a vertical body. That is why we humans are prone to lower Back pain. So many other thing can go wrong in our bodies: Diabetes? Cancer? Spina bifida? Cleft palette?..... He did a really sloppy job.

With respect to sexual reproduction, the system doesn't work very well. Whole chromosomes can be lost in the process, resulting in Downs Syndrome. Babies heads are so big that many women die in childbirth. There are thousands of other biological things that can go wrong in the process of fertilization, gestation, childbirth, and growth.

The animals don't have it any better. They are just as prone to the mutations and birth defects as humans. So many species have gone extinct, for no apparent reason. Maybe He was just having fun seeing what He could create and then destroy, but it seems to me that He was just being cruel. So it would be an improvement if He wasn't such a jerk.

He made the universe a very dangerous place for life. Solar flares, Asteroids and super volcanoes all could wipe out humans. Also, He is very wasteful. In our solar system alone, He created seven other, apparently, lifeless planets to just spin around the sun with no purpose (not to mention a gazillion asteroids, moons, comets and other bodies, with no real purpose but to look pretty in the sky (or to be almost invisible).

In summary, there are so many ways that God could be improved that it is apparent He must be either totally incompetent or purposely cruel.

God is happy! He loves us so when we are happy in a non-destructive way, he is happy too.
