There is a program out that you can download onto your computer for making different types of cards including invitations, but it's just as easy to go and buy them at a card shop or a Hallmark card shop. Some websites will give out some freebies for you to download. Inside the card will be all the information you should write in (more personal this way) and also put down where the event will be taking place and print off a map of how to get to the destination of where the party is going to be help and a phone number. It's important to get the invitations out three to four weeks before the party so the guests invited will have a chance to keep the date open. Also put 'RSVP' by __________2008. This means you would either like a phone call, email, etc., to confirm if the person is coming and if they are bringing someone with them. This gives you a chance to count how many guests can attend so you provide the amount of food you want to serve and if you are serving alcohol or at least soft drinks.
