Get some iron, smelt it, then get some wood, turn it into planks, then into sticks. Then put them together in a workbench in this order: Iron ingot, iron ingot, iron ingot, empty, stick, empty, empty, stick, empty. That should work!
1) Mine enough stone to build a stone pick and a furnace
2) Use the stone pick to mine some iron ore
3) Smelt the ore in the furnace
4) Make an iron pick
Unless you have a smelter in your back yard, it's simpler just to buy one.
you cant
In pocket edition you'll need iron, gold or a diamond pickaxe.
Same place as the computers vanilla Minecraft.
The same way you get iron on Minecraft PC/Desktop Edition and Xbox Edition. Just try to find a cave.
an iron pickaxe will do.
You need to craft it out of Iron Ingot and Sticks.
In order to to get iron ingots, you need to smelt iron ore.
put iron ore in the furnace (be sure there is coal in there too)
You must go underground and search for the iron ore. But be warned, if you mine iron with a wooden or gold pickax, it will not drop anything, you must use a stone, iron, or diamond pickax.
I don't know if this is accurate, but I found some under a river.
using 3 diamonds and 6 iron ingots
You have to use at least an iron pickaxe or better.
