I know one way where you get scraps of old paper, a blender and a screen like for a window, and some water. You put the paper and water in the blender and it should come out a thick sort of paste, it helps if it's construction paper. Then you spread it on the screen over a sink and the water will drain, then you let the paper dry (I'm not sure for how long) and then peel it off the screen.
First you need to cut up the plant material into small stamp sized pieces. Then boil the mixture until the plants material decomposes. Next spread the material over a screen box int the desired thickness. Finally allow the matter to dry.
crush the shells in to a very fine pulp and mix with water to form a paste then spread out the paste and let it dry.
