There are a few things that you can do to cut out some calories in brownies. Here are some simple ways, and the amount of calories that they will save ... (mind, not all recipes are the same or contain all of the same ingredients)
* Use sugar substitue instead of real sugar / Save 15 calories per teaspoon.
* Use skim milk or reduced fat / Save up to 50 calories per cup
* Use reduced-fat, low-sugar chocolate / Save up to 100 calories.
* Use low-fat butter, margerine / Save up to 150 calories
* Use only a few egg yolks, and more egg whites / Save 60 calories per yolk
It would not be easy to make a chocolate cake mix more like brownies because the mix already contains more flour, baking powder and other ingredients to make it rise and have the texture of cake.
Try these - they're amazing!
Hummingbird Bakery Classic Brownies
Ingredients
200g Dark Chocolate, chopped
175g butter
325g caster sugar
130g plain flour
3 eggs
1. Preheat the oven to 170c, Gas Mark 3. Place the chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Stir occassionally until thoroughly melted.
2. Remove from the heat. Pour into a larger bowl with the sugar in, and beat together. Add the sifted flour in and stir together. Finally, beat in the eggs until thick and smooth.
3. Pour into a greased and lined baking tray (mine was about 25cmx12cm, but it recommends a 33cmx23cm tray. Mine took longer to cook but were thicker) Bake for about 30-40 minutes (this depends on the size of the tray you're using) . They should be flaky ontop but still soft in the centre. Leave to cool totally before attempting to turn them out, otherwise they will crack and fall apart. Cute into small pieces when cool and enjoy with some good quality vanilla ice cream ontop.
substitute the eggs
Or - you can substitute apple sauce for the cooking oil.
Also you'd better add less chocolate and sweet things.
just add some creamy peanut butter to the mix before you bake it.
you mix and bake and it turns out Delicious

Well never mix brownies in a mixer. Follow the recipe on the back of your box of brownie mix, and you should be fine. Your CRAP and some water.
Oroweat no longer makes stuffing. Instead they make premium breads including those low in calorie and low in fat. They make specialty breads like Jewish Rye and whole grain breads.
I think you can, because cakes are just like brownies. So i guess you can make brownies out of cake mix. I have to stress that you can "NOT" make true brownies from a cake mix. Commercial cake mixes contain a rising agent which makes the cake "rise" into an airy confection. Although brownies do have a rising agent, they contain a great deal less than that of a cake. For example when I make my homemade cakes I use one and a half teaspoons baking powder (the rising agent), when making my brownies I use only 1/4 of a teaspoon of baking powder (which as you can see is nearly six times less than what is contained in cakes). If you were to use a cake mix you would want to kill the rising agent which is difficult to do. I suggest buying a mix specifically for brownies or making your own.
Yes, it will cut down on gas. Use low fat or non fat yogurt and mix with their kibble.
