I have made this error before in a restaurant and the best way to salvage the first batch is to double or triple your batch making sure to add no more salt including salted flavoring like onion or garlic salt.
Double the batch with no hot peppers or hot sauce added. Then what you will have is a batch of salsa with half the heat it has now.
