In the short term, you need to salinate the water- most seawater has a salt content of between 3.1 and 3.8 %; 3.5% is a good average, or in other words, 35 grams of salt for every kilogram of water. Make sure that the salt is completely dissolved. This will keep the snail alive in the short term, but sea water contains other minerals as well besides salt, which you'll need to add in correct quantity- for longer-term, more detailed information, contact your nearest marine aquatics dealer.

The cats eye sea snail (Turbo Smaragdus) Its a filter feeder that feeds on Microlagae, detritus, and small algae. Its adaptations include the operculum (mouth seal) that closes when a predator or a big wave approaches. Also, to avoid drying out the cats eye snail can store water in the base of its shell to use later. Its habitat is the N. Island, S.Island, and Stewart island of New Zealand.

Gary is a 3year old sea snail
A sea snail is exactly like a snail but they live in the sea and feed on different prey. Sea snails have one big foot, the slimy thing on the bottom, thst helps them to stick on stuff and slide along. Sea snails eat algae, fish food flakes(yes it is really kul), pellets and sometimes even rice(only some species but I advise u not to feed them rice some species can't take it and they die). Watch out for their eggs!! They can breed very quickly and my advice is to kill some but keep sum. (Sry i went a bit off topic).
