Eat right. Certain minerals make your nails not grow. Also you can paint them with clear nail polish to make them stronger so they don't break as much.
You can make short bitten nails look nice by filling and polishing the nails.
I suggest you buy one with a foam centre, especially if you have short nails, the slowly file around your nails. Make sure you file in one direction and use long strokes to prevent tears, jagged edges and uncomfortableness. Also buy a buffer because it helps filed nails look professional
nail polish is to make your nails look attractive, it generally did not have any effect on their growth
go get them done
take the nail polish off if your going to do acrylic nails yourself, it'll look bad if you dont and you can't make the nails stick good with polish on
Manicures, by making your nails look the same, bring a feeling of calming and of professionalism around you. People do not want to be distracted from you by nails that are scruffy and different. Plus manicures usually make people feel good about themselves which leads to others thinking that too.
you simply hold each leg upward with you special turtle clippers in hand. You then cut each nail and, you must make sure not to cut too short. If the nails bleed from short cutting, put turtle in water!

Pros: You won't harm your nails by not using acrylic paints/ fake nails: as these make your nails dry, weak and more likely to break off.Natural nails take less care; although it i would recommend buffing your nails to give them a natural shine.Cons: Acrylic tends to look better and often more glam, depending on the look you are going for.
i put on garlic and onios , then i put them for 5 min and put on like for a week and tada .
well i use to have short nails but i was told by my dad they look like boys.....but i painted my nails a few times a while and i used white...with little hearts in it it was cute......also not alot of colors look bad but when you do paint them make sure you have nail polish remover useable.....my nail polish remover is a sponge in a like cup thing and it has a hole for your finger and you put it on and like move it around...and pull it out and its gone.....its so fun my mom has to hide it.....from me.....lol hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!! I have long slender fingers, but really short (petite) nail beds & have the same difficult nail growth issues as you. I can say that I've bitten my nails somewhat in the past. However, there have been times I've managed to grow my nails 1/2 inch long in the past, & it still looks like they haven't grown at all! They're just so small & brittle. They've been that way since my birth. I'm 30 now, & there's not much I've been able to do to change it or make the nails stronger. I've tried everything. I've always hated the feeling of lack of femininity it gives me having these short nails. But it is what it is. It seems I'll have to continue to get acrylic (fake nails) applied whenever I want to splurge on getting fancy now & then. It seems to be a permanent thing for me. Just want to let you know that you're not alone!
Don't clip your nails
