the answer above is another cocktail. Strawberry homicide is 1 vodka, 1 triple sec, 1 white rum, crushed ice in a long glass, one single cream, a few dashes of grenadine and coca cola. The coke makes the grenadine bomb through the cream giving the strawberry look. It is a gorgeous cocktail, but does not taste like strawberries.

∙ 11y agoMade with vodlka, kahlua and grenadine in a large glass with finely crushed ice, top up with coke. The mixture is red and tastes of strawberries even though there is no strawberries in it! The crushed ice floats to the top and is finished off with cream with floats on the top of the cocktail giving the impressionof strawberries and cream. We used to drink these in Rumours in Covent Garden in the mid 80's but when I made them at home I always struggled to get the proportions correct.
