For a 1996 there are 2 screws 8mm I believe on the very bottom. There is also a screw behind a cover by the door lever. The entire door will lift up, then out.

You can't put down the back seat in a first-generation Oldsmobile Aurora -- at least not easily. It's not designed to be folded down. There is, however, a panel behind the center armrest of the rear seat that folds forward, creating an opening that allows long. skinny items to protrude from the trunk into the passenger compartment.
Control Panel
First you must pull the window control box out (pull from the front). second there should be a cap behind the door handle, pop the cap and take the screw out. then there are few screws on the very bottom of the door panel. take the srews out and pull up on the door handle.
