You probably put the breach together wrong as it has to be correctly aligned for a clip to fit. Open up your gun again and make sure everything is running smoothly. If it still doesn't work, search "nerf longshot internals" on google images and match the parts with one from a STOCK LONGSHOT picture unless you haven't modified it any other way.

I don't want an edit war but I know the Vulcan does not jam. You can buy whichever, but if you like sniping, get the Longshot. If you are into assault missions and firepower, the Vulcan is probably for you. Just make sure to handle the belt feed carefully.

If you just want it to shoot a bit farther, then drill out the air suppressors in the bolt. You can also take out the locks if you want. If you want it to shoot 100+ feet, you should consider replacing the original internals with custom homemade ones. If you want it to look cool then you should consider painting it, but make sure the orange tip is still on.

I would reccomend the longshot but i think the longstrike has more fire power.But i would choose the longshot because of the scope the longstrike doesnt have a scope.The perfect combination is the longshot's scope on the longstrike. :) so your choice
