You don't. If you want it to taste like meat, eat meat. Otherwise drain the tofu, pat dry, let it sit on paper towels or cloth to remove the moisture. Slice it and marinade in spices. Fry on the grill to crispy. Now it taste like marinated tofu, fried on the grill with herbs and spices. (not to be confused with meat)
Tofu
Yes, tofu is edible. Tofu is a substitute for meat, in case vegetarians would like something that tastes like meat, without really eating it. Personally, I would prefer a Boca Burger to a tofu burger, but that's just me. Anyway, tofu is edible.
You get protein, like in eggs and tofu!
You can eat the various substitutes that are made out of soy, tofu, tempeh, etc. Also consider that other living entities are suffering because....people like the taste. Cannibals like the taste of human flesh...so should we start eating humans because they taste good? Consider also that it really is conditioning to think meat taste good. I grew up on it but now find it repulsive in taste.
no

Vegetarians find it useful, but it is healthier than meat so can actually be considered a much better option. It's primary function is to taste like meat and give the same proteins.
No, you probably can not order it in restaurants, heck it's rare to do that in America. I don't believe Canada illegalized tofu. Nothing wrong with tofu, except I like meat.

You could, but it would probably be better to brown your tofu before adding it. If you do not mind using processed foods, companies like Morning Star also make vegetable based chicken meat substitutes.
