Help them out with their problems. If it's academic, social, or family problems, help them out with whatever situation they are stuck in. Under NO circumstances, can you EVER leave them for cooler friends. That's what my ex-bestfriend did to me. It was horrible. She left me for cooler friends who just left her about a year later.
