If your girlfriend has a problem that she won't talk to you about, the best thing to do is don't nag her about it. Give her some space, but let her know that you're there with arms wide open when she is ready to talk to about it. She will; if not she will resolve it on her own.

∙ 15y agoOpening up to someone can be difficult if you are not accustomed to doing it. When you say "girlfriend", you might not have been in a relationship long enough to have established TRUST. The only way that people will open up to one another is to gain the experience - one situation at a time. Show her that you are concerned. Be personal - allow her to cry if she needs to. Show your concern by sending an encouragement card. Let her know you are there no matter what. Once you establish this on a consistent basis - you might find that she will be more open to tell you. Whatever you do - don't push. Sometimes, people just want to know you are there and that you care. Allow her to open up when she feels she can.
