I don't know the exact answer, but one of the factors make them aggressive is because that their professors were probably an influenced to them. Other factors, well, some students cause it.

If you move them into a dorm, claim rooms quickly; special Townies called Dormies will show up and take the other rooms! Only your controllable Sims will live in rental housing. Once your Sim goes to class, he or she will meet the 2 Professors for his or her major. Your Sim can call any Professor or Dormie using the College Directory option on the phone.
