Living with a family member with autism isn't hard to deal with once you realize it. Once they start to grow up, they can be like normal children but a little more "fragile". Sometimes they walk around flailing limps or dancing but you will learn to ignore that and find out what a great child they are. Autism isn't hard to deal with at all, it just requires lots of time and especilly love. :]

Autistic people may be more severely effected as children but as they grow-up they learn to manage their autism a little better, wheras lack of support means autistic people can be more severely effected as they start to enter old age.
