I've worked for many years with people that I don't really like. I always keep my relationship and behavior on a professional level, most around me don't know that I don't like the person. An important technique that I use is to find any positive attribute they may posses and focus on those. I can't change the person, so I change my perspective. That doesn't make them my "buddy", just more tolerable. I have a special piece of knowledge that assists me in tolerance for all kinds of people and that is that I know for sure that no one is all good or all bad. You can always find something positive if you want to.
