You cannot override the driver's side power window. What would be the purpose of overriding that window and locking it out? There will always be a driver and that driver will always want to control that window. Unless you are asking how to make the window go up and down manually. Again you cannot accomplish that as it is an electric power window which can only be controlled from the P/W switch. If it is not working then it will have to be repaired.
It cannot be raised manually. You will have to repair it in order to raise the window.
brake the window

If there is a switch below the window controls on the drivers side door, flick it, that would be the override safety switch. It's labeled window lock.
There is a control power pack located in the drivers door panel which overtime needs to be removed and then re-soldiered to fix a cold soldier joints on the circuit board. This will fix the drivers window from sometime not opening.
You can manually roll up a power window by pulling on it. You can also remove the door panel and pull the window up.

try removing switch, and jumping the wires, this should raise window with out pulling door apart
take the door panel off and disconect the wire assembly or window regulator that goes to the power window moter and manually pull the window up.
Break the window with an iron wrench.
the easy way is to remove the door panel and cut the regulator cables on both sides of the motor then raise the window and wedge a stick under the window to hold it up
