You can program a blank key for Mitsubishi Endeavor 2006 using Transponder Key Blank Fits.
You can buy it at the dealer about $100 i think... Or buy a blank Mitsubishi endeavor key (Transponder) about $20.00 from the internet and have it cut (copy the original) at ace hardware and program the key yourself. Instruction to program is somewhere else here at answers.com Be sure you have two original transponder keys before you buy so you can program it to your car. If only one...you have no choice bu go to the dealer.
You have to use a key to take tire off
Yes theres a key usaully tire shops have them see if you can buy or borrow one from them.
Locksmiths have transponder detectors that read if a transponder is active within a key. The device we have is called "TD3AII Transponder Detector" by Ilco.
Step on the brake, press the lock on the 'Shift Stick' and push it to 'Park'.
The dealership can generally program a new transponder key based on the VIN. Most good locksmiths can reproduce the key, but would need the original to do so.
A Toyota Matrix transponder key is factory programed. At times this programing can fail. It is a quick process for the dealership to reprogram the key. A lost key and transponder will cost approximately $100 to replace depending on model.
the transponder is in the head of the key ther are about 5-7 parts that are conected on the car that control the key and the reading / from a loccksmith
It has to be reprogrammed! Now if you get the computer, key cyl and the transponder from the same car and install all them it will work then. the computer read a signal from the transponder witch reads the key. if they do not match the computer shuts down and will not let the car start.
Normally it would only cause a problem if the transponder key had severe damage or trying to start the car without the transponder. If the key looks ok and there's no damage to the sstem then it's probably not the transponder system causing the problem. The dealership could figure this out.
