If you are asking how you, yourself, can motivate a person using psychoanalysis, then the answer is you cannot. You have to be trained in that practice to be able to use it ethically and legally. Or, if you are asking how to motivate a person to get psycholanalysis, then the answer is the same, but for different reasons. The main reason for this is that the person that may need help has to first make the decision that they want to get help. They have to motivate themselves, you cannot provide the motivation for them. The best thing to do is just talk to them as a regular person, a person who cares and is concerned about them. Support them emotionally to help ease the fears and pains they have so that they feel safe with you. Then, when they start to feel comfortable talking to you, slowly start shifting the conversation to other avenues for them that they can use to find other people to talk to about their fears. Then start offering a list of different kinds of people they may want to choose, and these don't all have to be psychoanalysts. They can be life coaches, social workers, family and relationship counselors, psychologists, or even religious leaders. When they choose for themselves, they will feel more empowered and in control of their situation which will give them the best chance for a positive outcome, and they may need to see a few different people to find the one that is right for them. Good luck.
