How do you speed up the evolution of a creature becoming a tribe in the space stage of spore?

Ha Ha, I had this trouble when I first got Spore aswell.

It turns out, all that is needed is to use the RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON.

It's weird, because in creature, civi AND space stage, you use the left button.

If you are refering to when you have to evolve from the creature, after killing or befriending enough creatures a small button will pop up in the lower left hand corner of the screen. Click that, and you will evolve to the tribal stage.

If on the other hand you were refering to uplifting creatures while you're in the space stage, you must purchase a monolith from another empire, then place it on a planet that does not have any intelligent species on it. In a few minutes one species will evolve to the tribal stage.

If you mean in creatute stage, you simply destroy/befreind enough species to be ready to evolve, and press the button in the bottom right corner

In the space stage, place a Monolith on an unclaimed planet with creatures on it.

You can buy an item called monolith. It raises it up by one. Then you can buy another and raise it up again into space stage. But if you don't do anything about it, it will stay a tribe forever.

Use the Monolith tool in Spore Space Stage to make other species Tribal or Civilized but I'm not sure if you can make them a Space Empire
