If the break up didn't end too badly or if you think you can, talk to the person and as hard as it is when you've been hurt, consider the facts. Finding out that someone doesn't love you anymore hurts, alot, but its better than not knowing, fueling pointless hopes that will only hurt ten times worse when they're broken down later on. Don't immediately look for someone to fill the gap, focus on the other great things in life. Friends, family, sport or some other leisure activity your really in to. Keep your social life going and take the time not to consider what went wrong with the last relationship but know what your looking for in a person. Not to unload on WikiAnswers but I've just gotten off the phone after this exact situation and now that I'm forced with loving someone who doesn't love me back I think I can move on. ∙ 14y agoIts different for everyone, I however found out I couldn't move on, so I took action, and now she is by my side. Try it, just take action d and whatever happens DO NOT GIVE UP or settle for less.
You will never forget about someone you love but the ONLY way to move on is to cut off all contact with them. Delete their number, delete them from your facebook friends, and do whatever you can to distance yourself. This is the only way to move on, and it will get easier over time.

∙ 12y agoTry to find somebody new since there are plenty of fish in the sea. Sometimes, you really have to keep your eyes peeled for the right guy/girl. And if you think he is the right guy/girl, maybe moving on isn't the best idea and maybe you are meant for each other:)

One way for you to move on is don't even try to think about the person.Clear your mind of everything about that certain human.Don't be so pressed over that one male or female. But another way you can forget about the person is go out and have fun and do what you do best don't try to be so in "love" with him or her cause hunny there are plenty of fish in the sea that are going to do 10 times beter than the person you can't get over cause he/she is not worth your time that is just creating more stress on you.
