It is easy to recover deleted files from your mac computer with easeus data recovery wizard for mac. It is the best mac data recovery software. Please download it at http://www.easeus.com/mac/mac-data-recovery/, install and launch it on your Mac computer. The program will scan your drives and find the lost files. You'd better preview the files before your recovery to save time.

The computer is unable to find a system folder to boot from. You will need to install Mac OS X again from the installation discs that came with the computer. Insert the disc and hold down the C key while the computer restarts to boot from the disc. Follow the instructions to reinstall Mac OS X. It is used for the impermanent storage of your data files. Also it is where the windows or MAC system files (which make your computer work) are stored. Also when you install an application, such as Office or iTunes, these files are also written to the hard drive. Impermanent because they will remain if the power is lost, but you can erase them if you desire.
Get the magnet away as quickly as possible and check to make sure none of your files were erased. But if you have a MAC it might not affect your computer.
Macintosh computers can use many file types. .exe files are not compatible, nor are Windows System files such as .dll or .bat. Common files such as mp3, mp4, m4a, m4b, .mov, .au, .acc and .html are used by the Mac. There are hundreds of other file types that can be used by a Mac computer. Many Windows file formats can be used by a Mac by using applications from other companies which produce 'converters' which can enable the files on a Mac. MPEG Streamclip and VLC are two such converters.
