Acne can be caused all the way back to heredity. Ck your family history to see if anyone has ever had acne. Other things is stress, emotions, oily moisturizers, makeup, perfume soaps, foods you eat. ∙ 15y agoIf you have mostly non-inflamed lesions like blackheads and congestion you have grade 1 or 2 noninflamed acne.
If you have a combination of blackheads, congestion and pimples/pustules you have grade 3 acne.
If you have mostly inflamed pimples, pustules and cysts, you have grade 4 acne.
