I'm assuming you're talking about the front fender, in which case, I'm 90% certain they are identical. The best way to be absolutely certain though, would be to grab your phone book and call a local salvage yard, they can tell you right away what's interchangeable and what's not.
underneath the drivers door
THIS IS NOT NORMAL. THE LIGHT SHOULD GO OUT WHEN THE DOOR IS CLOSED.
I know mine is on the drivers side there is a door in the kick panel
In a 1994 Pontiac Sunbird, the power door lock module is typically located inside the driver's side door panel. To access it, you'll need to remove the door panel by unscrewing and unclipping it carefully. Once the panel is off, the module should be visible mounted to the door's inner structure. Make sure to disconnect the battery before working on the door to prevent any electrical issues.
Some were equipped with a cable operated release. The handle will be next to the driver seat between the seat and the door. Very few Cavalier/Sunbirds were equipped with a power trunk lock. I did find one in a '94 once.....It's currently on my '92.
Yes they are more than likely the same. They look the same on my 2 and 4 door 94 Cavaliers. You might also find that the fenders from the Pontiac Sunbird also fit as well.
The vaccum door near the gas pedal is broken or not receiving vaccum.
I had this happen to me. Try to get a wire hanger thru where the front door starts to angle down toward the windshield and use it to push the door unlock button
To install a power window motor in a 1992 Pontiac Sunbird, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Remove the door panel by unscrewing any fasteners and gently prying it off to access the window motor. Disconnect the wiring harness from the old motor, unbolt it from the regulator, and replace it with the new motor. Finally, reassemble the door panel, reconnect the battery, and test the window operation.
