Well, to my knowledge of making website, you need to know code. HTML,PHP,CSS.
Those are some things you should be familiar with in order to make a website. HTML is used for webpages, php(so far as I know) is for adding games to your site. CSS is a software to design your website. You could also use GIMP.
I am currently working on making a website using code like HTML, PHP, CSS, and some java script. If you want to make a very proffesional website it will take a lot of code, whereas if you are making a small basic website it will be much easier. If you want to make a website using notepad you will have to learn some of the above mentioned languages to get anywhere. If you need help with learning the code part look up one of the languages mentioned earlier that you would like to learn (it should be pretty easy to find information on them). When you have learned them it should be easy to make it. Once you are finished save it as: filename.html and make sure that you save it for all files or else it might save as a text document. If you want to make any changes to your code later on just go back to the file open it with notepad make your changes and save. Your website won't be on the web, or published even though it is being opened using a web browser. It is just saved locally. If you look at the address in the address bar you will see that it shows the file location. If you would like to get it published research website publishers and choose one that you think is best for you.
A website can be made by typing the HTML code into notepad, then saving the file with the ".html" file extension. Below is an example that has the basics with somethings you can put with just basic HTML.
<HTML>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/HTML; charset=utf-8" />
<title>Put Your Title Here</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1>This is a header 1</h1>
<h2>This is a header 2</h2>
<h3><b><u>This is my unordered list</u></b></h3>
<ul>
<li>pig
dog
horse
lion</li>
</ul>
<h3><b><u>This is my ordered list</u></b></h3>
<ol>
<li>pig
dog
horse
lion</li>
<ol>
</body>
</HTML>
and save all that as Index.HTML and open it and it should be a very simple web page.
Go into the Notepad program. On the file menu, choose "File" then "Open" Navigate to the place you saved the HTML document, and find the file that is the actual HTML (it'll end is .html or .htm.) Choose that file and press the "Open" button. If it comes open looking like absolute gibberish, you've got the wrong file.
You can't view an HTML page directly in Notepad, except as HTML code.
To view it as a web page you must save it and open it with your browser.
You can easily add a template in your HTML. Just copy the code in the HTML pages of the template and separate folder for CSS and JS.
You have to duble click on the web page
To open a SVD file saved on a disc, double click on it. If the file doesn't open, you need a software application for SVD file extensions.
To "run" HTML code, you simply need to open it using a web browser. This can be done by placing the file on the server and pointing the browser to it, or you can use the native "Open File..." command in the browser itself. If you want to learn HTML you can visit one of the websites in the related links.
Yes, a word document of any type can be saved as a web page. It's very simple. Create the document, which you want to save as web page. Now click on save as in main menu. A window will open. Here you have "Save as type" option. Chose "web page" and name the file in "File Name" box and click save. Your done.
You save the webpage under File and then go onto note or wordpad and open it. Tada!
Yes. Doing this will cause the file to open in a separate window; it will not create background music or embed the video in the webpage itself.
it is saved as a html
the difference is that homepage is your one special webpage which opens when you go for browsing. while bookmarks are multiple links you saved on browser for convenient reach.
