take the thug approach and rip the door off
yes yes
My vectra is a 1999 S plate and has a factory fitted immobilizer, I think that alarm/ immobilisers were fitted as standard the year after mine.
the LED with a man running away from 3 curves lines lights up when the alarm is ON press this button if you leave any pets in the car and it disables the interior alarm sensors :)
I have a Vectra and it has a TM button on the centre unit below the AC button. It it used to start the Traffic Master. The Traffic Master is a subcription paid Traffic alarm system. The signals are reported to your vehicle when you pass certain senders on traffic hotspots and motorways, where traffic is ahead.
I think maybe by just by inserting the key and locking, dont use the keyfob because that arms the alarm
open bonnet and alarm horn is on top rite below black perforated cover. if you unplug it it will still sounds the alarm siren
if the alarm goes off and the electrics on the key wont stop it - don't panic at the racket - but simply use the key and manually unlock the Vectra - then put key straight into ignition; alarm may stop at this point but if not then take tyhe last step needed to 'cut it' and merely turn on the ignition/start the car with the actual cut key.
I find that fastening the seat belt disables the alarm immediately
It allows you to sit in the car with doors locked and stops the alarm going off while still in the vehicle
Test is for what? To see if it works? OR To see why it goes off for no apparent reason?
Remove padded cover from battery, sometimes you have to slide relays up out the way, depending on model. Locate 13mm bolt at front and remove, battery will lift out. To stop the alarm sounding turn the ignition on while removing battery.
It needs to be done by a dealer. Otherwise someone could buy a fob, program it to a car them self & then drive the car away without the alarm going off.
