Take out any batteries and leave it to dry completely in a warm place. When it is completely dry replace the batteries and try it.Sometimes if will work again. Sometimes not.

Most cheap safes have an over -ride key for just such a situation, it is usually hidden under a removable cover plate or even under the keypad which on some safes is removable. Most higher grade safes have the battery under the keypad which can be changed without losing the code fromthe safes mamory. I suggest taking a picture of the safe and and emailing it to your local safe expert (many locksmith say they are safe experts but are not) and asking his opinion.
