sometimes if you parked with wheels not straight the steering lock will engage and be tight in the steering column if this is the problem, just move the steering wheel a bit so it frees up a little it will only move one way if this is the cause then while holding steering wheel away from where it was, see if key will turn if this doesnt work, get a steering column specialist to come out and fix ignition
Please provide any updates on this if you were able to get your door fixed. My driver side rear door is locked shut. It was intermittent at first but now it's not working at all.

I have had this same problem on two different Grand Cherokees. Over an extended period of time the latch mechanism get out of adjustment from the slamming of the reach hatch. It is very simple to adjust, but very difficult to reach. You must pull the reach hatch interior panel away from the door while it is closed. I don't think that there is any other way to trip the level. The small arm that trips the lock is held in place by a nylon keeper and must be adjusted. This is easy to do once you get the interior trim off and the hatch opened. Do not close the hatch again after the adjustment until you have tried the handle about a half dozen times.
The Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer is a must have for someone suffering for arthritis. The mixer bowl is firmly locked in place to ease scooping so no more trying to hold onto the mixing bowl and scoop at the same time.
The holes represent the bubbles of trapped and expanding gas that was present in the solidifying lava. They were essentially frozen in place.
