Try restarting your computer. It could be there are two instances of the same program running in the back ground causing the error.

The HP mini is actually a Netbook. If it has Windows Movie Maker loaded onto it, then you can access the program to create videos. But, I am not sure the mini comes with Movie Maker (or if its memory capacity is such to accommodate the program).

You have to have the original source files available to be able to Publish a video in Windows Movie Maker. If they are not available on your computer (for the program to access) then you can't publish the video.

If you are using Windows Live Movie Maker there is no Slow Down effect available.Only Windows Movie Maker v2.6 has this effect.
