Same problem on my 2005 Honda Civic. Any one has the answer?
try running with fuel cap open. If it keeps running, breather in fuel cap blocked, strip fuel cap and clean.
Here's what you do to get rid of the problem. 1) Open the hood. 2) Make sure the engine is cold (completely) 3) Remove the radiator cap. 4) Go get a new Honda. 5) Open the hood on the Honda. 6) Make sure the engine is cold. (Completely) 7) Remove the radiator cap. 8) Install the radiator cap from the Cavalier. 9) Start the Honda and drive it for 200,000 miles. 10) You'll only have problems with the radiator cap. 11) You'll go to the Honda Zero times for problems. (Unless for normal service) Just Kidding, I have the same problem with a 2002 Cavalier (56,000 miles) Electrical Problems. Key Tumbler, Ignition Switch, Stuck in Park, on and on, Waiting 10-30 minutes to start randomly. They have 2 recalls and 17 TSB's. If I figure it out,Ii'll come back and post. Later
Just turn open the fuel fill cap and you will hear the depressurizing sound. Ttssssssss.
Both the owner's manual and the oil filler cap for 1998-2002 Honda Accords states 5w30. NOT 5W20. 5W20 is for newer (2001-) Honda Civics and (2003-) Accords with tighter mechanical tolerances.
