First remove the plastic cover that matches the color of your vehicles interior, mine was light gray and it swung out toward me and off. Located inside is the black fuse box cover, which has a little latch on the bottom in the middle. If you reach down and grab that latch and pull it towards you the cover should come off.
According to the 2003 Ford Expedition Owner Guide : The passenger compartment fuse panel / power distribution box is located in the front passenger footwell , in front of the front door , behind a flip out cover ( so the power distribution box is not in the engine compartment on a 2003 Ford Expedition )
The firewall divides the passenger compartment from the engine compartment
I was looking at the 2003 Ford Expedition Owner Guide and it shows that the passenger compartment fuse panel and the Power Distribution Box are COMBINED behind the swing out kick panel in the front passenger footwell
On a ( 2003 ) Ford Expedition ( just one ) The passenger compartment fuse panel and the power distribution box are combined . It's located in the front passenger footwell , just in front of the front door . ( the kick panel swings out for removal to gain access to the fuses )
In a 2003 Ford Expedition : The passenger compartment fuse panel is combined with the Power Distribution Box . It is located in the front passenger footwell behind the swing out kick panel * the kick panel is the interior trim panel , in front of the front door , beside the passengers right foot
I would say ( yes ) * according to the 2003 Ford Expedition Owner Guide ( it shows the diagram and list for the passenger compartment fuse panel / power distribution box ) located in the front passenger foot well , behind the swing out kick panel
The passenger compartment fuse box is located below and to the left of the steering wheel , by the brake pedal on a 2000 Ford Expedition
On a Ford Expedition : Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine ( 4.6 and 5.4 )
I was looking at the 2003 Ford Expedition owners manual online at : www . motorcraft service . com ( no spaces ) Click on Owner Guides ( the fuses and relays section starts on page 249 and it shows the passenger compartment fuse panel / power distribution box so it doesn't appear that it has any fuses in the engine compartment like usual on Ford vehicles )
It should be on the passenger side next to the radiator.
On a 2000 Ford Expedition : The passenger compartment fuse panel is below and to the left of the steering wheel , by the brake pedal ( it has a cover on it ) Also , the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) is located in the engine compartment , on the drivers side of the engine compartment
On a 2004 Ford Expedition : The power distribution box and the passenger compartment fuse panel are combined together ( they are located in the front passenger footwell , behind the kick panel )
