Once the vehicle is unlocked. Push the jag symbol in the center of the trunk. This is a neat little hidden feature that took me about 2 years to figure out.
A remote is a button pressed device that you change the channel with or a remote to control something.
It saves you having to walk to the television by clicking a button on the remote to change the channel or volume.
System Settings after you've pressed the MENU button on your remote control.
== == The lock solenoid switch is not working properly to retract the lock arm in the trunk.
Maybe someone pressed the automatic remote starter button (if the car has the ARS)
If your simply pressing buttons on the actual DVD player, it knows what to do because the buttons are hard-wired into the board. If your using the remote, it sends a unique infra-red signal for each button that tells the DVD player what is being pressed.
On the top of the remote the left button and mute must be pressed at the same time!
There is a button in the glove compartment that disables the remote releases for the trunk. I would check there first.
I was able to use the code search on a GE 4 function remote, I found the remote for $5 at Big Lots. I started the search with the TV on and let it run until it shut the TV off. Steps I took, press and hold the setup key - then release, press and release the TV button, press and release the power button, after TV turns off then press the #1 button to lock in the code. This remote does almost everything but the sleep button.
NO, only button it has is on remote and manual open on trunk door, when car is unlocked.
First you need to sync it with the wii console. Open the panel on the wii console and you'll find a sync button there, and open the battery door on the remote and you'll see a sync button there as well. Click on both of them together and that will sync the remote with your console. You will only need to this once. Then in each game you play you have a way to add a remote (by clicking on buttons 1 and 2 together).
Check for obstructions in trunk lid latch, or lose hardware. If not that, check for objects pressing on release button in glove box or possible lose wire contacts on button. If not that, then you may be pressing on remote release button in your pocket while driving car. Leave remote at home and see if it still opens. Could be bad contact in remote control button.
