I have looked all over my 92 Toyota many times for a trunk release, but to no avail. Only one of the pair of keys that the car has will open the trunk, so if you have both, try the other one. My guess is that if you cannot use a key to open the trunk, you may be able to get in through the back seat. My "92" Corolla does have one key that works on the trunk but the mechanism jamed up on me so the key no longer works. It might if you can free it up. Fortunatley my LE came with a trunk release next to the gas release so it might depend on the model and make. You could maybe install one for cheap! Good luck.
Yes. My 2006 Toyota Corolla S has two levels to release the back seat in two parts. Open the trunk and the lever knobs s are attached to the roof of the trunk, almost sticking out so you can see them. I guess we never noticed because, 6 years after we bought the car, the new-car plastic wrap covering the knobs is still there.
i also have a corolla and u open it by just pulling it fron the left side towards you slowely with a screw driver.
On my 1995 Geo Prizm, cannot open trunk from inside of car.
On my 1992 Toyota Corolla, the key stopped opening the trunk lid but worked on the doors. I went to a locksmith to get the trunk opened. He made a new key that then worked on all the locks. He said that a worn key may fail to open only one of the locks on a car.
