We have a 2002 S-80. The headlight wipers work automatically when you use your windshield washer fluid to wash your windshield.
The headlight washers & wipers will automatically work for 2 "sweeps" when the windscreen washers are operated. You should be able to see them moving across the beam pattern against a wall or with a 2nd person observing. You cannot operate them separately. If they do not work - further investigation will be required ( fuses, seized motors etc ).
They are the headlight washer covers. If you have headlight washers, these covers lift when you activate the windshield washer.
Begin by removing the wiring harness from the back of 2004 Volvo headlight. Remove the headlight assembly retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new headlight assembly.
