How do you overlap a clip over another in Windows Movie Maker?
you can only fade into one another to fade drag 2 clips together
No. There is only one audio track to work with in Windows Movie Maker. You can drag an audio backwards on the time-line to overlap the music... but it may not sound the way it would if it were on two different tracks. Perhaps you can try to use a streaming audio recorder to record audio on windows movie maker.
You can't make a 6-split screen on Windows Movie Maker. You can make a dual-split screen if you download a split-screen feature... But, Windows Movie Maker does not have a feature like that available. It is possible to create one on another program and import it into Windows Movie Maker as long as it is a compatible format.
Is it possible to put a video on top of another or combine them with another video in Windows Movie Maker?
You can overlap the video (by dragging one over top of another). But, I don't know why you would want to do that, as both would play simultaneously. Most videos that are slightly overlapped give movie projects a smooth looking transition from one video to the next. Overlapping them entirely would be pointless. If you are asking whether you can do a side-by-side video split in Windows Movie Maker... you can't. Not unless you download…
Windows 7 version of Windows Movie Maker is actually an Essentials program called Windows Live Movie Maker. It is a stripped-down version of Windows Movie Maker v2.6. Though it doesn't have all the functionality and features of its predecessor, Windows Live Movie Maker does have Title and Credits, which is where you will find a box to place text into.
