LOL...I had the same problem until I realized the driver door locks all the doors and must be lcoked from the outside. I assume it is a safety precaution to avoid lokcing your keys inside.

When you open the back doors there will be a slider switch with a picture of a lock. There is one on each of the back doors midway down on the door its self , these switches are right next to the latching mechanism.

The door ajar light stays on ONLY when the key is on, you may have a faulty switch in one of your doors. My power locks are like yours, the rear driver door locks, but none of the others.
