Use graphite in the locks, and use a vinyl protector or WD40 on the door seals to keep them from sticking to the door jambs.
Push all the door locks down manually and then lock the drivers door with your key if it will not stay locked when you push the lock down and shut the door.
LOL...I had the same problem until I realized the driver door locks all the doors and must be lcoked from the outside. I assume it is a safety precaution to avoid lokcing your keys inside.
When you open the back doors there will be a slider switch with a picture of a lock. There is one on each of the back doors midway down on the door its self , these switches are right next to the latching mechanism.
Basically, although all other doors are shut, there is still a small draft which is coming in through the closed door, causing another to open slightly.
The door ajar light stays on ONLY when the key is on, you may have a faulty switch in one of your doors. My power locks are like yours, the rear driver door locks, but none of the others. My passenger door lock is jamed (unlocked thankfully) I think this may be causing the other locks to malfunction.
Closed door policy means if the doors shut you can't go in.
to help the door shut more easily
Take the vehicle to a mechanic and have them check the computer. If the doors used to lock but don't anymore, it could be computer, fuse, or a bad switch. Depends on the vehicle.
hello i have had the same problem it locks and everything if your boot light comes on its not your boot if it doesnt (when bboot open) its our boot seor
The system thinks that a door is not shut completely. If all of the doors are shut tight, then a door switch is loose or bad.
