It depends what you want. There are many painting guides for many chapters. If you are a novice your best bet would be to ask someone at your local GW for some help.
Space Marine Tactical Squad (includes 10 Space Marines) Space Marine Combat Squad (includes 5 Space marines) Space Marine Rhino Space Marine Scout Squad (includes 5 Space Marine Scouts) Space Marine Assault Squad (includes 5 Space Marines).
It depends what Chapter you are doing. Like Dark Angels terminators are painted a bone white & are known as the Deathwing. It just depends on how you want your squad portrayed and if you have a little story to go with it. Get creative and have fun, that's always the best way to paint.
A leader and the glue that holds a squad together. You should probably give them terminator honours so then they can keep there squad fighting fit. Average Squad: usually have no helmet and hold a chain sword with a pistol. Assault Squad: Usually have no helmet and have a Power Fist, assault shield, power weapon, melta. Devestator Squad: Ussualy have no helmet, iron halo, skull probe, spot light. Scout Squad: A 'mini' chainsword, target finder, plasma weapon. Terminator Squad: They usually have an iron halo, a power weapon, an assault shield, power claws. (this is a normal Terminator Squad) Hope ive been helpful :)
Yes you can.
A space marine scout bike squad is 70 points
Read the codex
6 or 7 I think.
No he keeps all his current statlines and weapons etc and any special rules that he can confer onto a squad he does(fearless and fleet cannot be added as he may be fearless but that squad is not so as he is part he has to take tests too).
160 points without any upgrades
5 Marines = 90p. Each additional (up to a maximum of ten) costs 18p. + weapons.
A space marine battle force consists of 1.Rhino/razorback 2.10 tactical marines 3.5 Assault marines 4.5 Scouts ---------- Depending on how armed, it can add up to roughly 500 points
its 40 points per model meaning around 200 points for a squad of 5
